AJGA Alumna Jillian Hollis earned her third Epson Tour victory this past weekend at the Circling Raven Championship. Hollis had a two-shot win over runner-up Robyn Choi and was four strokes from third-place finisher and AJGA Alumna, Alexa Pano.
In her opening round, Hollis carded five birdies and one bogey, en route to a 4-under-par 68. In the second round, Jillian continued her strong play by making seven birdies and one bogey to shoot a 6-under-par 66.
Heading into the final round, Hollis was tied with Robyn Choi, at 10-under-par for the tournament. Jillian was able to edge out Choi thanks to nine birdies and ended her round with an 8-under-par 64. She finished the tournament at 18-under-par 198 to leave Worley, Idaho, a champion.
Hollis was a standout AJGA player as a junior golfer. She was a first-team Rolex Junior All-American in 2014, and earned victories at the 2013 Randy Wise Junior Open and 2014 AJGA Junior at Sugar Valley. In addition, Hollis also competed for the East Team in the 2014 and 2015 Wyndham Cup before playing collegiate golf at the University of Georgia.
