AJGA alumnus Andrew Kozan earned his first career Korn Ferry Tour title at the Utah Championship presented by Zions Bank on August 7th.
Kozan kicked off the week with a bogey-free first round of 8-under-par 63 and established his new career-low round. Sharing the lead after 18 holes, Kozan then posted an 1-under-par 70 in the second round to head into the weekend.
The Auburn alum kept a steady pace on moving day with a 4-under-par 67 however, which left him three shots behind the leader. Kozan fired nine birdies with only one bogey on No. 8 in the final round and secured the win with a final round 8-under-par 63.
Kozan competed in AJGA tournaments for six years between 2012 and 2017, with his best performance coming at the Puerto Rico Junior Open presented by EaglesDream Golf Academy where he won in 2015.

AJGA alumna Xiaowen Yin, of Tianjin, China, earned back-to-back Epson Tour wins at Firekeepers Casino Hotel Championship and French Lick Charity Classic in two consecutive weeks.
Yin went wire-to-wire win at Firekeepers Casino Hotel Championship on July 31st. She shared or had the outright lead throughout all three rounds with a first round of 5-under-par 67 and two consecutive rounds of 4-under-par 68 to force a playoff with fellow AJGA alumna Gina Kim. Yin defeated Kim at the first playoff hole to secure her first professional victory.
Getting into Top-10 on the Official Money list, the Epson Tour rookie was feeling more relaxed the following week. With an unpredictable weather delay at the French Lick Charity Classic, Yin had to play four rounds in three days posting two rounds of 2-under-par 70 and a round of even-par 72 in the first three rounds. Being four shots behind the leader Gabriella Then, Yin did not realize she won the tournament until she finished her last hole carding a final round of 3-under-par 69, to earn her second victory over Then.
The 17-year-old China native competed in three AJGA tournaments between 2017 and 2019. Her best finish was solo second at the 2019 KJ Choi Foundation Junior Championship presented by SK Telecom.
