AJGA alumnus Viktor Hovland drained a birdie putt on the 72nd hole to win the Mayakoba Golf Classic presented by Unifin. Hovland carded rounds of 67-69-63-65 to finish the tournament at 20-under-par 264 and win by one stroke over Aaron Wise. This is his second PGA TOUR win.
In his AJGA career, Hovland played in two events with his best finish coming at the 2015 Thunderbird International Junior where he finished T7.

Angela Stanford won the Volunteers of America Classic after carding a tournament total of 7-under-par 277 in her home state of Texas. She earned her seventh LPGA victory after an impressive final round of 4-under 67 sealed the win by two strokes.
AJGA alumnae Inbee Park and Yealimi Noh finished tied for second with So Yeon Ryu at 5-under 279.
