AJGA alumna, Lilia Vu, took home her first LPGA Tour Champion title at the 2023 Honda LPGA Thailand. Vu battled back a six-shot deficit to claim the victory with a four day tournament total of 22-under-par 266.

Vu started the tournament off with a strong first round. Her first birdie of the day came from the par-5 No. 1 and continued with three consecutive birdies on the front nine starting with the par-4 No. 6. Her solo bogey of the round came on the par-4 No. 17, but Vu finished the day with a 6-under-par 72. Heading into her second round, after two bogeys on the front nine, Vu carded three birdies and finished the round with a 2-under-par 70. During the third round, Vu's day was highlighted by an eagle on the par-5 No. 10, finishing 6-under-par 72. In her stellar bogey-free final round, Vu carded eight birdies to hold a one-stoke lead to take home the victory. She finished the final round with an 8-under-par 64.

As a junior, Vu began her AJGA career at a Qualifier event in 2010. She went on to play in over 40 AJGA events from 2010 to 2015. Her best finishes include three AJGA champion titles at the 2010 Preseason Junior at Oak Valley, 2011 Junior All-Star at River Ridge and 2013 AJGA Junior at Robinson Ranch. The three-time Rolex Junior All-American went on to play collegiate golf at the University of California, Los Angeles

Chris Kirk won The Honda Classic at PGA National Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, marking his fifth PGA TOUR career win. Kirk defeated Eric Cole in a sudden death playoff to take home the championship title. This win is Kirk's first PGA TOUR win in nearly eight years, with his other most recent win coming from the 2015 Charles Schwab Challenge.

The Georgia native had an opening round of 1-under-par 69. His impressive second round started off strong with an eagle on the par-5 No. 3. Kirk's momentum carried on throughout his bogey-free day to shoot three consecutive birdies on the back nine starting on the par-4 No. 11. He finished the round with an 8-under-par 62. During the third round, Kirk followed up his strong play with a 4-under-par 66, carding six birdies and two bogeys. On the final round, Kirk had a one-stoke lead over Cole heading into the final hole. A bogey from Kirk on the par-5 No. 18 led to a playoff against Cole. Kirk bounced back with a tap-in birdie on the first hole, taking take home the champion title. He ended with a tournament total of 14-under-par 266.

During his AJGA junior career, Kirk played in two AJGA events, including the 2001 Polo Junior Classic. The other event was the 2001 AJGA Shell World Golf Village Junior Championship, where the two-time Rolex Junior All-American finished runner-up. Kirk went on to play collegiate golf at the University of Georgia.
