Max Homa emerged victorious over Tony Finau after a two-hole playoff to win The Genesis Invitational. Homa carded scores of 66-70-70-66 to finish the tournament at 12-under-par to get into the Playoff with Finau. They both parred the first playoff hole but it was Homa's par on the second playoff hole that sealed his second PGA TOUR victory.
Homa played in AJGA events from 2006 until 2009 and had five top-5 finishes. His two career-best AJGA finishes were third at the 2006 Nike Golf Junior at Diablo Grande and third at the 2009 ClubCorp Mission Hills Desert Junior.
Hayden Buckley earned his first Korn Ferry Tour victory after defeating Taylor Montgomery in a one-hole playoff. Buckley was the first alternate going into the tournament but soon found himself in the field and shot rounds of 68-65-68-70 to finish the tournament at 13-under-par 271. Buckley birdied the first playoff hole to win the LECOM Suncoast Classic.
In his AJGA career, he played in six events from 2011 to 2013. His best finish was T27 at the 2011 Junior All-Star at Eagle Ridge.
