Madelene Sagstrom earned her first LPGA victory last weekend at the Gainbridge LPGA at Boca Rio after finishing the tournament at 17-under-par 271. Sagastrom shot a career-best 10-under-par 62 in the second round to take a one-stroke lead. She would go on to win by one after a solid final round of 2-under-par 70.
During her AJGA career, Sagstrom finished 11th at the 2010 Thunderbird International Junior and T17 at the 2009 Polo Golf Junior Classic.

AJGA alumnus Lucas Herbert won his first European Tour event after emerging victorious in a playoff. Herbert shot his best round of the tournament on the final day with a 4-under-par 68 to get to 9-under-par for the tournament. He erased a six-stroke deficit and went on to defeat Christiaan Bezuidenhout in a playoff.
Herbert played in one AJGA event during his junior golf career. He finished T15 at the 2012 AJGA Junior Open at The Legends.

Marc Leishman won the Farmers Insurance Open to capture his fifth PGA TOUR victory. He carded three rounds in the 60s including an impressive final round of 7-under-par 65 to win by one over Jon Rahm.
Brandt Snedeker was the highest-finishing alumni in the field last weekend. He finished T3, two strokes back of Leishman, with a tournament total of 12-under-par 276. Snedeker played in AJGA events from 1995 until 1999.
