AJGA alumnus Justin Thomas became the first PGA Tour winner of 2020 after defeating
alumni Patrick Reed and Xander Schauffele in a playoff at the Sentry Tournament of Champions. All three would card tournament totals of 14-under-par 278 to get into the playoff but it was Thomas whose birdie on the third playoff hole sealed his 12th PGA Tour title. He joins Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods and Sam Snead as the only players with 12 wins before the age of 27.
During his AJGA career, Thomas had three wins and was a two-time Rolex Junior All-American.
