AJGA alumnus Bryson DeChambeau won his sixth PGA TOUR event at the Rocket Mortage Classic on July 5 after shooting 23-under-par 265. He averaged a 350.6 yard drive over the 72-hole tournament, recording the longest average driving distance by a PGA TOUR winner. DeChambeau won by three strokes with fellow AJGA alumnus Matthew Wolff finishing in second.

Will Zalatoris earned his first Korn Ferry Tour victory after shooting 15-under-par 273 at the TPC Colorado Championship. He brought his round to a close with a birdie on No. 16 to win the event by one. Zalatoris played golf at Wake Forest after being a Rolex Junior All-American in 2010 and earning numerous top-10 finishes in his AJGA career.
