Jon Rahm won The Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide by three strokes after shooting 9-under-par 279. He joined Justin Thomas, Dustin Johnson and Bryson DeChambeau as one of the four players to have won in each of the last four seasons. The win pushed Rahm to the top of the Official World Golf Ranking, becoming the second Spaniard in PGA TOUR history to claim the No. 1 spot. AJGA alumnus Matthew Fitzpatrick climbed 15 spots in the final round to finish third.

With the win, Riley passed roommate and fellow AJGA alum William Zalatoris in the points. A birdie on the 72nd hole secured his two-stroke victory. Riley was a Rolex Junior All-American in 2012, 2013 and 2014 after numerous top finishes throughout his AJGA career, beginning back in 2009.
