AJGA alumni, Brian Harman secured his first major win at the 151st Open Championship at Royal Liverpool Golf Club.
In his opening round, Harman started strong with three birdies on the front nine and finished the round with a 4-under-par 67. His bogey-free second round was highlighted by an eagle on the final par-5 No. 18, leaving him at a 10-under-par for the tournament. Heading into the final round, Harman held the lead by five strokes. He was able to hold on to the lead spot and carded a 1-under-par 70 to secure his first major with a six-stroke lead.
Harman had a standout junior golf career. The two-time Rolex Junior Player of the Year claimed two AJGA Invitational wins including the 2004 FootJoy Boys Invitational where he sunk a fifty-foot putt to secured the win with a one-stroke lead. The Georgia native was also a three-time Rolex Junior All-American.

AJGA alumna, Allisen Corpuz secured her first LPGA title at the 2023 U.S. Women's Open at Pebble Beach.
In her opening round, Corpuz fired off four birdies en route to her 3-under-par 69. Her second round was highlighted by two consecutive birdies on Nos. 3 and 4 bringing her tournament total to a 5-under-par. After the third round, Corpuz held a one-stroke lead. On the first hole of the final round, she fired off a birdie on the par-4 No. 1. Feeling the pressure, Corpuz managed to card five additional birdies throughout her round to secure the win, bringing her to a three-stroke lead.
Throughout her junior golf career, Corpuz competed in over 45 AJGA events from 2010 to 2016. The four-time Rolex Junior All-American claimed two AJGA wins at the 2016 Winn Grips Heather Farr Classic hosted by Longbow Golf Club and the 2010 AJGA Junior at Quad Cities. Corpuz also earned AJGA medalist honors at three qualifier events.
