After seven years and 167 starts, Michael Thompson claimed his second PGA TOUR victory at the 3M Open. The AJGA alumnus won by two strokes at 19-under-par 265. The win pushed Thompson well up the FedexCup standings, going from 151st to 39th and qualifying him for the World Golf Championships-FedEx St. Jude Invitational.

AJGA and Oklahoma men's golf alumnus Max McGreevy won the Price Cutter Charity Championship to become a first-time Korn Ferry Tour Champion. He shot 21-under-par 267, including a bogey-free, 8-under-par 64 in the final round, to win by just a single stroke at Highland Springs Country Club. In his time as an AJGA member, McGreevy won the 2012 KPMG Stacy Lewis Junior Open.

In the Symetra Tour restart, AJGA alumna Ruixin Liu won her fourth Symetra Tour event after claiming a victory at the Firekeepers Casino Hotel Championship. She shot 13-under-par 203 to win by two strokes. Her best finish with the AJGA was a second-place finish at the ANNIKA Invitational in 2015.
