Jon Rahm of Barrika, Spain, captured his first major victory at the 121st U.S. Open at Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego, California. Rahm shot a 4-under-par 67 on Sunday and a tournament total 6-under-par 278 to become the first Spaniard to win the U.S. Open.
Six AJGA alumni finished within the top-ten:

T4. Brooks Koepka, Collin Morikawa
T7. Daniel Berger, Xander Schauffele, Scottie Scheffler
English, who played college golf at University of Georgia, earned his highest AJGA tournament placement at the 2004 Burgett H. Mooney, Jr. Rome Classic where he finished third. Koepka, a Florida State University golf alum, won the 2005 Ashworth Junior at Highland Oaks and was a Rolex Junior All-American in 2007. Morikawa was a Rolex Junior All-American in 2013 & 2014 and played college golf at University of California, Berkeley. Berger, a Florida State University golf alum, was a Rolex Junior All-American in 2010. Schauffele's best finish at an AJGA tournament came at the 2010 ClubCorp Mission Hills Desert Junior where he was runner-up. He played college golf at San Diego State University. Scheffler, who played college golf at University of Texas, was a Rolex Junior All-American in 2011, 2012, & 2013.

AJGA alumna Nelly Korda of Bradenton, Florida, won the Meijer LPGA Classic or Simply Give at Blythefield Country Club in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to become the first two-time winner on the LPGA Tour this season. Korda shot a tournament total of 25-under-par 263, including a 62 on Saturday, to win by two strokes over fellow AJGA alum Leona Maguire.
Korda had two AJGA tournament wins at the 2015 The PING Invitational and 2015 Yani Tseng Invitational presented by the Swinging Skirts. She had seven additional top-ten finishes from 2012 to 2015, including runner-up at the 2013 & 2014 TaylorMade-adidas Golf Junior at Innisbrook hosted by Sean O'Hair and 2015 Rolex Girls Junior Championship. Korda was also named a Rolex Junior All-American in 2013, 2014, and 2015.

Harry Hall of Hayle, England, won the Wichita Open Benefitting KU Wichita Pediatrics at Crestview Country Club in Wichita, Kansas. Hall shot a tournament total of 20-under-par 260 to secure his first victory on the Korn Ferry Tour. AJGA alum Curtis Thompson of Plantation, Florida, was runner-up after shooting a 19-under-par 261.
Curtis, who played college golf at Louisiana State University, had one AJGA tournament victory as a junior at the 2009 Laredo Energy Junior at Traditions. He had four additional top-ten finishes from 2005 to 2010. In 2009, Thompson was named a Rolex Junior All-American.
