Four-time, first-team Rolex Junior All-American Webb Simpson notched his second win of the season with a victory at the RBC Heritage. With the championship, he moved to No. 1 in the FedEx Cup standings. He birdied five of the last seven holes to shoot 22-under-par 262 and win by one stroke. Simpson won the 2001 Rolex Tournament of Champions and played collegiate golf at Wake Forest.

AJGA alumnus Chris Kirk won the King & Bear Classic at World Golf Village. He birdied the final hole to win by one stroke at 26-under-par 262. The victory was his first PGA TOUR-sanctioned win in over five years. Kirk was a two-time Rolex Junior All-American and played golf at the University of Georgia.
