Sam Burns claimed his fifth PGA TOUR victory at the World Golf Championships-Dell Technologies Match Play. The Louisiana State alum advanced from the group play matches with a 3-0-0 record.

In the semifinal match, Burns played against fellow AJGA alumni, Scottie Scheffler. Heading into No. 18 Burns held a one stroke lead, but Scheffler birdied the hole and forced a playoff between the two. On the third playoff hole, Burns carded a birdie to earn his spot in the Championship match. In the final match, Burns carded eight birdies and defeated Cameron Young in the Championship match by a 6-and-5 margin.

Burns was a standout during his junior career and played in 29 AJGA events. The three-time Rolex Junior All-American has three AJGA Champion titles and 13 top-10 AJGA career finishes. Burns was also a three-time Wyndham Cup West Team participant.

AJGA Alumna, Celine Boutier, earned her third LPGA Tour career win at the LPGA Drive on Championship. This win earned Boutier the title of the winningest French player in LPGA Tour history.

Held at the Superstition Mountain Golf & Country Club, Boutier defeated Georgia Hall in a sudden death playoff. The three-time LPGA Tour winner carded a birdie on the first hole of the playoff to take home the championship title.

In her opening round, Boutier carded five birdies to shoot a 3-under-par 69. The following day, the 2016 Duke graduate kept the momentum going with a bogey-free round and made six more birdies to shoot a 6-under-par 66. In the third round, she carded a sole eagle on the par 5 No. 2 and six birdies, ending the day with a 7-under-par 65.

During the final round, Boutier fought hard and secured a birdie on the final hole to head into a playoff with Hall. Boutier stayed focused and carded another birdie on the 73rd hole to claim her third LPGA Tour champion title.

During her AJGA junior career, Boutier earned four top-10 career finishes. She was a first-team Rolex Junior All-American in 2011 and earned her sole AJGA victory at the 2011 ANNIKA Invitational before playing collegiate golf at Duke University.

Scottie Scheffler secured his sixth PGA TOUR Championship title at THE PLAYERS Championship. Held at TPC Sawgrass, Scheffler is only the second AJGA Junior PLAYERS participant to go on and win THE PLAYERS Championship. After successfully defending his WM Phoenix Open title earlier this year, this win marks his second PGA Tour win in 2023.

Scheffler started the tournament with a steady front nine in the first round. After firing five birdie on the back, he finished the day at 4-under-par 68. The next day, after a sole bogey on No. 3, Scheffler followed up with four more birdies to end the second round 3-under-par 69. In his best round of the tournament, at 7-under-par 65, Scheffler carded a sole eagle on the par 5 No. 2.

During the final round Scheffler remained consistent throughout the round to end the tournament with a five stroke lead at 17-under-par 271 and take home the victory.

In his junior career, the three-time Rolex Junior All-American earned nine top-5 AJGA career finishes. Scheffler's best finish came from a tie for first place at the 2009 Qualifier for the Bob Estes Abilene Junior.
