AJGA alumna Ariya Jutanugarn returned to the winner's circle over the weekend with her one-stroke victory at the Honda LPGA Thailand. The win ended a 1,015-day drought since her last LPGA Tour victory at the 2019 Ladies Scottish Open. The two-time Rolex Junior Player of the Year posted rounds of 65-69-69-63 to secure the victory in her homeland at 22-under-par 266. This is her 11th LPGA victory.
Jutanugarn dominated the junior golf scene growing up. Her junior golf career included eight national junior golf victories, with four of those coming at AJGA Invitationals. To help quantify her greatness, in her final year of junior golf (2012), Jutanugarn competed in seven national junior golf tournaments, finishing no worse than T12. She also notched four victories that year, at the Thunderbird International Junior, Rolex Girls Junior Championship, Junior PGA Championship, and the Polo Golf Junior Classic. She was also a three-time First Team Rolex Junior All-American.

Hovland competed in two AJGA tournaments as a junior golfer, finishing T7 at the 2015 Thunderbird International Junior and T9 at the 2015 Junior PLAYERS Championship. Mitchell played in more than a dozen AJGA tournaments between 2007-09. He was a 2008 Rolex Junior All-American who earned his best career finish (T2) that year at the Ringgold Telephone Company Junior Classic.
