AJGA alumna Minjee Lee earned her first win of the year at the Cognizant Founders Cup. This is her seventh career title since winning the 2021 Amundi Evian Championship.
Though Lee started the week with eight birdies in the first round, a bogey and a double bogey on the back nine brought her to seventh place, tied with Lexi Thompson. She made the most of the second round however, firing a 9-under 63 to take a three-shot lead into the weekend. Lee's round was one shot away from the tour's low round of the season of 62.
The rainy weather held Lee back on moving day, but an eagle-birdie run on the back nine kept her lead into the final round at the Upper Montclair Country Club. The only bogey she made on the last day came on the par-3 eighth, which didn't bother the champion as Lee steadied herself with three birdies on the back nine to secure the win. Lee became the first Australian to win the Cognizant Founders Cup with this victory.
During her junior golf career, Lee finished 11th at the only AJGA tournament she played, the 2011 Thunderbird International Junior, and she also won the 2012 U.S. Girls' Junior Championship.

AJGA alumnus Anders Albertson won the Visit Knoxville Open for his second Korn Ferry Tour title, with his last victory at the Memorial Health Championship presented by LRS in 2018.
The Georgia Tech alum carded three bogey-free rounds during the week. Opening the Visit Knoxville Open with a bogey-free 8-under 62 on Thursday, Albertson kept a steady pace from there and managed to secure a share of the lead following a 3-under 67 on Friday.
Albertson took over the solo lead after posting a 5-under 65 in round three. This marked the first time in his professional career that he held the lead after 54 holes. Another bogey-free round with four birdies out of his final six holes took him one stroke ahead of Carl Yuan, the current Korn Ferry Tour Regular Season Points List leader, who is also an AJGA alumnus. Albertson two-putted for birdie at the last hole and secured a one-stroke win at the Holston Hills Country Club.
Albertson competed in four AJGA tournaments between 2009-2010, and his best finish was T16 at the 2008 Medicus Preseason Junior at Chateau Elan.
