AJGA alumni Brooks Koepka wins his third PGA Championship in Rochester, New York at the Oak Hill Country Club.
Brooks started the day three strokes off the pace and kept his steady momentum. The middle of his game seemed wobbly, after carding back-to-back bogeys on Nos. 6 & 7 and his competitors started to catch up. Sitting at 7-under-par through nine holes, his resilience propelled him. On No. 10, Koepka had a two-shot lead after getting a birdie, putting him at 8-under-par. Koepka progressed to 9-under-par after shooting three additional birdies on the back nine. Koepka finished with a 9-under-par 271 winning the PGA for the third time and granting him his fifth major title. He is now one of only 20 golfers with five or more major titles.
As a junior, Koepka began his AJGA career in 2005 winning the Ashworth Junior at Highland Oaks. He would go on to participate in multiple AJGA events for 2 more years after his victory at Highland Oaks.

AJGA alumni, Emiliano Grillo claims his championship title at the Charles Schwab Challenge in Fort Worth, Texas.
In his opening round, he started off strong and had competitors following close behind. Grillo kept a stable score until the third round when he made five bogeys in the final 13 holes moving him down from first. Now sitting at 10-under-par on the 18th hole, he had a two-shot lead. Grillo hit the ball and watched as it veered right and landed in the creek. The water’s current slowly moved his ball close to the tee box. He took a penalty stroke and played the ball from where it entered the stream. Despite his setback, he tied for first forcing him into a two-hole playoff. He entered the playoff with a score of 8-under-par 272. After making a birdie putt on the second playoff hole, No. 16, Grillo secured the win. After almost 8 years, Grillo claimed his second PGA TOUR win.
During his AJGA career, Grillo was a two-time Rolex Junior All-American and won the PING Invitational in 2009. He would play in over 15 AJGA events from 2008 to 2011.
