AJGA alumnus Brendon Todd won the Mayakoba Golf to give him his second-straight PGA Tour title. Todd's epic comeback story began when he won in Bermuda two weeks ago. After shooting a tournament total of 20-under-par 264 this week, he would earn the victory by one stroke.
Todd played in AJGA events from 1999 until 2003 and had one win at the 2003 Rolex Tournament of Champions. He was also a first-team Rolex Junior All-American in 2003.
Tommy Fleetwood earned his first European Tour victory since January of 2018 at the Nedbank Golf Challenge this past weekend. Fleetwood finished the tournament at 12-under-par 276 and defeated Marcus Kinhult in a playoff to get the win.
Thomas Detry was the highest finishing AJGA alumnus. He finished tied for third place four shots back of Fleetwood and Kinhult.
