AJGA alumnus Lucas Herbert earned his first PGA TOUR victory at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship. Entering the final round four shots off the lead, Herbert got off to a hot start with back-to-back birdies on Nos. 2 and 3. After dropping a stroke on the par-4 No. 9, Herbert made the turn at 1-under-par 35. From there, the Australian played steady golf down the stretch, ultimately defeating fellow alumni Patrick Reed and Danny Lee by one shot at 15-under-par 269.
Herbert competed in just one AJGA event as a junior, the 2012 AJGA Junior Open at The Legends, which he qualified into as the Qualifier medalist.
