AJGA alumnus Patrick Cantlay won the Zozo Championship at Sherwood Country Club after carding a final round of 7-under 65 that included a career-high nine birdies. He would finish at 23-under 265 for the tournament and win by one over Justin Thomas and Jon Rahm. This is Cantlay's third PGA TOUR victory. In his AJGA career, he was a two-time, first-team Rolex Junior All-American and had one win.

AJGA alumna Ally McDonald earned her first LPGA Tour victory after winning the LPGA Drive On Championship at Reynolds Lake Oconee. McDonald carded four straight rounds in the 60s and never gave up her lead during the final round. She held off Danielle Kang to win by one stroke at 16-under 272. During her AJGA career she had three top-10 finishes and her best result was sixth at the 2009 Charles Howell III Junior Championship.
