AJGA alumnus Hudson Swafford picked up his second PGA TOUR victory after winning the Corales Punta Cana Resort & Club Championship. Swafford won by one stroke over Tyler McCumber and was the only competitor to shoot all four rounds in the 60s. His first PGA TOUR victory came at the 2017 CareerBuilder Challenge. From 2004 to 2005 Swafford played in 10 AJGA events earning one win at the 2004 Burgett H. Mooney, Jr. Rome Classic.

Alumnus Jared Wolfe won his second Korn Ferry Tour event of the season after carding a 16-under-par 264 at the Wichita Open Supporting Wichita's Youth. Wolfe's final round of 1-over-par 71 was enough to earn him a one-stroke victory over Taylor Pendrith and move him to be one win away from securing his PGA TOUR card. Wolfe played in three AJGA events during the 2005 season and went on to play collegiate golf at Murray State University.

Laura Wearn won the IOA Classic presented by HomeValue.com after a one-hole playoff against alumna Haylee Harford. Wearn drained a birdie putt on No. 18 to get to 10-under-par and earn a spot in the playoff with Harford. Wearn now has three Symetra Tour titles with her last win coming in 2019 at the Symetra Tour Championship.
Current AJGA member Katherine Schuster of Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina, made the cut as an amateur, shooting a tournament total of 1-over-par 214 and finishing T51.

Alumnus John Catlin won the Irish Open by two strokes to earn his second win in his last three starts. Catlin carded an impressive 6-under-par 64 in the final round to hold off Aaron Rai and finish at 10-under-par 270. Catlin played in AJGA events from 2006 to 2009 with his best finish coming at the 2008 PING Phoenix Junior where he finished T4.
