  • Cade Walker of Montgomery, Texas, and Rustyn Goolsby of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, are co-medalists for the Boys Division after the final-round of the AJGA Preview at Brookhaven. After shooting one of four under-par rounds of the day, Walker finished with rounds of 74-71 for a tournament total of 1-over-par 145. Shooting consistent rounds of 73-72 for a tournament total of 1-over-par 145, Goolsby moved from second after the first round to clinch a medalist spot.
  • Amanda Jones of College Station, Texas, and Celine Niu of Newport Beach, California, are co-medalists of the Girls Division after the conclusion of the final-round of the AJGA Preview at Brookhaven. Jones carded rounds of 74-78 for a tournament total of 152 while Niu finished with rounds of 78-74 for a tournament total of 152. Camille Lapierre-Ouellet of Granby, Quebec, Canada, rounded out the Top-three of the Girls Division after posting rounds of 82-76 for a tournament total of 158.
  • Top-five Medalists for the tournament included Cody Winkler of McKinney, Texas, who finished third after shooting 75-71 for a tournament total of 2-over-par 146. His highlight hole was the par-5 No. 4, which he eagled in the final round. Tied for fourth, Blaine Calhoon of Ward, Arkansas, and Terrin Anderson of Montgomery, Texas, finished two-shots back of the leaders. Calhoon finished with rounds of 74-73 for a tournament total of 3-over-par 147 and carded 9 birdied for the tournament. Anderson posted rounds of 72-75 for a tournament total of 3-over-par 147 and was one of four players to post an even-par or better round in the tournament.
  • Montgomery High School teammates Cade Walker and Terrin Anderson finished on the podium together.
  • Gage Carnes of Winter Haven, Florida, carded the Boys Division low final-round score with a 2-under-par 70. While co-medalist Celine Niu posted the Girls Division low final-round score with a 1-over-par 74.
  • The Tournament is in its ninth year of being hosted hosted at Brookhaven Country Club in Farmers Branch, Texas.

Junior Golf Hub Preview Series

This series is designed specifically for juniors who have not yet played/been accepted to an AJGA tournament. This tournament is one of 15 Junior Golf Hub Preview Series events held during the spring that offer these new and returning members the opportunity to start building Performance Based Entry status before application deadlines arrive for summer Open and ACDS Junior All-Star Series events. Some notable Preview Series alumni include the PGA TOUR’s Xander Schauffele and the LPGA’s Alison Lee.
