Weidenfeld and Rawl lead after round one

After the first round of the AJGA Girls Championship, Casey Weidenfeld of Pembroke Pines, Florida, and Isabella Rawl of Lexington, South Carolina, lead after each shooting a 3-under-par 69.

Weidenfeld had six birdies throughout her round. The Auburn University commit is No. 80 in the Current Rolex AJGA Rankings and is searching for her third AJGA victory.

Rawl carded a combined four birdies and one eagle in her opening round. The Clemson University commit is coming off of a T6 finish at the AJGA Junior at Oldfield.

Loralie Cowart of Winston, Georgia, sits in solo third place after shooting a 2-under-par 70. Cowart finished with three birdies on the day.

Kiera Bartholomew of Wake Forest, North Carolina, is alone in fourth place at 1-under-par 71. Bartholomew had four birdies on the day.

Sara Im of Duluth, Georgia, Lydia Swan of North East, Pennsylvania, and Hyo Joon Jang of Seoul, South Korea, sit tied for fifth after carding an even-par round of 72.
