Norman, OK - The final round of the AJGA Junior All-Star Invitational saw more windy conditions and cooler weather along with some solid play from the entire field.

Ashley Yun of West Covina, California, came out victorious after shooting a tournament total of 8-under-par 208. The class of 2023 graduate is no stranger to the winner's circle as she had two wins in 2019 at the AJGA Junior at Woodbridge and the Callaway Golf Junior Championship.

Yun's day started with her being tied-for-first with Abbey Schutte of Goodyear, Arizona, and an up-and-down performance for most of the front nine until she had a hole-in-one on the par-three No. 6. Her performance on the back-nine leveled out and helped her finish the day with a 2-under-par 70 and a Low Final Round award.

I'm really happy with how I handled myself out there this week. Even when things got tough I held it together and this is a great way to end the past month of non-stop grinding for me.

A two-year ACE (Achieving Competitive Excellence) Grant recipient, Yun has six top-10 finishes in her AJGA career and was a 2019 Rolex Junior All-American. This is her first invitational win and first win of the 2020 season.

Luke Coyle of Campbellsville, Kentucky, won after a one-hole playoff against Anawin Pikulthong of Gilbert, Arizona. Coyle lead at the end of every round at Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club and finished with a tournament total of 8-under-par 208. The class of 2023 graduate carded 15 birdies throughout the three rounds and finished with a par on the playoff hole to claim the victory.

This is Coyle's first invitational win and first win since the 2019 Evitt Foundation RTC Junior All-Star. Coyle is currently ranked No. 120 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings and four other top-10 AJGA finishes in his career.

It was a great week out there and I want to thank my parents, my playing competitors and most importantly God for giving me this opportunity.
