The AJGA heads back to Kingwood

The Clubs of Kingwood hosts for the second year, this time at the Island Course

The AJGA Junior at Kingwood will take place October 2 - 4 at The Clubs of Kingwood - Island Course. The 36-hole stroke-play tournament consists of 78 juniors from the ages of 12-18 to play the Island course. The event will begin with a qualifier round on Thursday, October 1.

Players to Watch

Matthew Comegys of Plano, Texas
Comegys has five Top-5 finishes in his AJGA career. This will be his fifth AJGA tournament of his 2020 season. He is currently ranked No. 101 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings.

Rohit Madireddi of Flower Mound, Texas
Madireddi is No. 111 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings. The University of North Texas commit has two Top-10 finishes in his 2020 season including a T3 at the KJ Choi Foundation Texas Junior Championship presented by Mediheal.

Jacqueline Nguyen of Houston, Texas
Nguyen has finished Top-15 in five out her six events in 2020. The Houston native is No. 53 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings and is looking to secure her first AJGA title in her hometown.

Summer Lee of Plano, Texas
Lee has three Top-3 AJGA finishes in her 2020 season. The 14-year-old is No. 89 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings and searching for her first AJGA title.
