Pronghorn Resort Set to Host AJGA for First Time

The Jack Nicklaus Signature Course will host its first AJGA tournament as golfers from all over the United States showcase their skills.

The AJGA Junior at Pronghorn will be played on the Jack Nicklaus Signature Course. This year will be the first year that the AJGA hosts a tournament at Pronghorn Resort, located in Bend, Oregon. The 78-player field features boys and girls from nine different states. The 54-hole stroke play tournament will take place over three days.

Players to watch
Baron Szeto of Moraga, California
Szeto is one of the top players in the field of the Boys Division. He has been competing in AJGA tournaments since 2017 and his best finish was first at the 2018 AJGA Junior All-Star at Wood Ranch.

Akshay Anand of Redmond, Washington
Anand is the top-ranked male in the field. He has four top-10 finishes in his AJGA career.

Selena Tang of Fremont, California
Tang is the top-ranked player in the field. She has a Rolex AJGA Ranking of No. 76 and has eight top-10 finishes in her AJGA career. Tang finished was co-medalist at the 2018 AJGA Preview at La Purisima presented by Explore Lompoc.

Sophie Dalfonsi of Bend, Oregon
Dalfonsi is the top-ranked local player in the field. Her best finish came at the 2019 WinCraft / McArthur Towel & Sports Future Legends where she finished T7.
