AJGA hosts an event in Sevierville for the first time

The AJGA will host its first event at Sevierville Golf Club's River Course for the AJGA Junior Open presented by Visit Sevierville/Tennesee Tourism on July 27-29. The tournament consists of 36 holes of stroke play and a qualifier. The field has 78 juniors, ages 12-19.

Sara Im of Duluth, Georgia (2023)
Im enters this tournament No. T57 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings. In 2019, the 15-year-old won three AJGA events and has finished in the top 16 in the two AJGA events she has played in 2020.

Ava Merrill of Johns Creek, Georgia (2023)
Merrill won July 19 at the TaylorMade TP5 Junior All-Star, her third event in as many weeks. The 15-year-old previously won the 2019 Evitt Foundation RTC Junior All-Star.

Ben Haggin of Lexington, Kentucky (2021)
Haggin enters this tournament No. 147 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings. He has verbally committed to the University of Virginia and is playing in his second AJGA event of 2020.

Luke Coyle of Campbellsville, Kentucky (2023)
Coyle won at the 2019 Evitt Foundation RTC Junior All-Star and compiled two AJGA top-22 finishes in 2020. He is tied for No. 279 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings.
