Sevierville hosts two events: AJGA Preview and Open

Players from 16 states will compete in the national junior golf event

The 2020 AJGA Preview presented by Visit Sevierville/Tennessee Tourism will take place July 29-31. Seventy-eight juniors, ages 12-19, will compete in a 36-hole stroke play tournament at the Sevierville Golf Club's River Course. This will be the second tournament during the week of the AJGA's debut in Sevierville.

Players to watch

Haley Davis of Ocala, Florida (2025)
The 13-year-old made her AJGA debut in the 2020 AJGA Junior All-Star presented by Auburn-Opelika Tourism.

Alice Choi of Suwanee, Georgia (2023)
Choi has played in two AJGA events in 2020: the AJGA Junior All-Star presented by Auburn-Opelika Tourism and the Harold Varner III Foundation Junior All-Star.

Corey Haydu of Doylestown, Pennsylvania (2021)
Haydu has competed in two other AJGA tournaments in 2018; his best finish was T28 at the AJGA Preview at Forsgate.

Matthew Young of Atlanta, Georgia (2023)
Young has competed in one other AJGA event. He finished T32 at the 2018 AJGA Preview at Waubeeka.
