Barrientos maintains lead going into final round

Moss leads by two in the Boys Division

Melena Barrientos of Plano, Texas, leads the Girls Division at 3-over-par 147. She shot 1-over-par 73 in the first round and 2-over-par 74 in the second round to have a four stroke lead heading into the final day of play. Barrientos has made a verbal commitment with Clemson University and is seeking her second AJGA victory of 2020.

Currently in second place is Bridget Ma of Windermere, Florida. Ma recorded rounds of 4-over-par 76 and 3-over-par 75 to put herself in position. Tied for third place are Morgan Smith of Westford, Massachusetts, and Julia Misemer of Overland Park, Kansas. The pair have a two-round total of 10-over-par 154 and are looking to make moves on the final day.

After the second round, Sebastian Moss of Houston, Texas, leads at 1-over-par 145. He shot rounds of even-par 72 and 1-over-par 73 to have a two stroke lead heading into the final day. Moss has made a verbal commitment to the University of Louisville and has three top-10 AJGA finishes. He finished T4 at this tournament last year, and is seeking his first win.

In second place is Calen Sanderson of Newtown, Pennsylvania. Sanderson currently sits at 3-over-par for the tournament. Sanderson set the course record in the first round after shooting 6-under-par 66, and he finished second at this event last year. He has one win at the 2018 Golf Performance Center Junior All-Star.

Tied for third are Ethan Whitney of Westmister, Massachussetts, and Colin Huang of Newport Beach, California. The pair are at 6-over-par 150 for the tournament. They are both seeking their first AJGA victories. Tied for fifth place are Will Lodge of Darien, Connecticut, and Nikhil Pande of Milton, Massachusetts, who sit at 7-over-par 151.
