Nicholas Gross of Downington, Pennsylvania, fired a 7-under-par 65 in the second round to take a solo lead of the Boys Division at the Junior Golf Hub Junior All-Star presented by Explore York. He played nearly perfect golf with eight birdies, one bogey and 10 pars during the round. Gross holds a four-stroke lead over the field.
Kristoffer Kuvaas of (Norway) Houston, Texas, shot 3-under-par 69 to remain near the top of the leaderboard and he sits at 8-under-par 136. There is a three-way tie for third between Justin Sui of Lake Orion, Michigan; Keller Mulhern of Exton, Pennsylvania; and Clark Xander Goboy of Chesapeake, Virginia, at 6-under-par 138. Sui shot 6-under-par 66 in the second round while Goboy climbed up the leaderboard with a 7-under-par 65.
Maye Huang of Katy, Texas, took a commanding lead after shooting 6-under-par 66 in the second round. After bogeying No. 1, she fired off seven birdies and 10 pars to take a two-shot lead heading into the final round. She is at 5-under-par 139 for the two days.
The top of the Girls Division leaderboard separated as Angelina Tolentino of Mount Laurel, New Jersey, sits at 3-under-par 141 in second and AnPhi Le of Frederick, Maryland, is at 2-under-par 142. Claire Lu of Edison, New Jersey, is just behind in fourth at 1-under-par 143.
