DeLaRosa's bogey-free 4-under-par 68 stands alone on top the leaderboard after day one. The highlight of DeLaRosa's day would be his four birdies in the round.
Four other players round out the top five. All four gentlemen are tied for second after shooting 3-under-par 69 on the day. Minas Manias of Frisco, Texas, Rohit Madireddi of Flower Mound, Texas, Bryce McCracken of Trophy Club, Texas, and Henry Guan of Irving, Texas, make up those four.
Nitisha Manikandesh of Plano, Texas, had the low score in the Girls Division at 5-under-par 67. She had an outstanding seven birdies on the day.
Following close behind Manikandesh is Bohyun Park of Farmers Branch, Texas, with a score of 4-under-par 68. Michelle Zhang of Plano, Texas, Avery Thompson of Houston, Texas, and Maelynn Kim of Katy, Texas, round out the top three with a score of 2-under-par 70.
