#StacyLewisInv Social Wrap-Up

With a unique boys versus girls format and traditional social activities seen with a twist and a back-to-back Girls Division Champion, the 2020 KPMG Stacy Lewis Junior All-Star Invitational was one to remember.

Socially distant social activities, Symetra Tour exemptions and holes-in-one were all significant highlights of the 2020 KPMG Stacy Lewis Junior All-Star Invitational.

Both You Seong Choi and Leigh Chien, the 2019 Boys and Girls Division Champions, returned to the field at Blessings Golf Club in 2020.

It's not every day you get advice from a professional on how to play the golf course. After playing for the Arkansas Razorbacks for five years out at Blessings Golf Club, Stacy Lewis had two major pieces of advice for the field: good speed on the greens and "when you get into trouble, get out."

The Girls Division Champion earned an Symetra Tour exemption into the Founders Tribute at Longbow, in Mesa, Ariz., from August 14-16 at Longbow Golf Club.

The Stacy Lewis Short Game Challenge was a mini-social activity where juniors were tasked with pitching their golf ball over an eight-foot net to get as close to the hole as possible.

July 1 was National Creative Ice Cream Flavor Day so our juniors combined to make some of their own unique flavors.

A on-site scoreboard off the No. 18 green provided live scoring updates and photos of the leaders from each day.

Holes-in-one became a staple of the week as one junior made one each day. In the first round, Patrick Hong carded a hole-in-one on No. 8. Bailey Shoemaker made her first-ever hole-in-one on the same hole during the second round. Finally, after bogeying No. 12, eventual champion Jask Usner made his first-ever hole-in-one on No. 13, aiding in his two-stroke victory.
