Following the first round of the UHY Kansas City Junior, Benjamin Stoller of Owasso, Oklahoma, has the solo lead in the Boys Division after shooting a 3-under-par 68. Stoller made five birdies and zero bogeys on his front nine. His best finish the season was a T6 at the UHY St. Louis Junior presented by Family Golf and Learning Center.

Megan Propeck of Leawood, Kansas, leads the Girls Division after the first round. Propeck finished her round with a score of 2-under-par 69. The University of Virginia commit is searching for her second AJGA title. She has two top-three finishes this season.
Drew Nienhaus of Saint Albans, Missouri, sits three-strokes back after shooting a 1-over-par 72. Nienhaus had four birdies in her round and looks to earn her first AJGA title.
