Beth dominates first round, holds five-stroke lead in Girls Division

Coffman and Culbreth share the lead in the Boys Division at even-par

Trinity Beth of Calvert City, Kentucky, was the only player in the 73-player field to shoot under-par through the first 18 holes. She carded six birdies and sits at 4-under-par 68. Beth is a 2026 graduate and one of the youngest girls in the field.

Sitting six strokes behind Beth are Sophia Dyer of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Kate Barber of Savannah, Georgia, who both sit at 2-over-par 74 and are tied for second.

Leading the Boys Division after round one are Will Coffman of Palmetto, Georgia, and John Daniel Culbreth of Thomasville, Georgia, sitting at even-par 72. Coffman carded two birdies on the day, while Culbreth carded three.

Sitting just behind them at 1-over-par 73, and tied for third, are Brody McQueen of Marietta, Georgia, and Hamilton Coleman of Evans, Georgia. Both are 2026 graduates.

Rounding out the top five are three juniors tied at 2-over-par 74:

  • Charlie Tucker of Castle Pines, Colorado
  • Michael Lee of Suwanee, Georgia
  • Oliver Jackoniski of Dunwoody, Georgia
