Yoo and Hileman tie for Girls Division medalist honors

GaEun Athena Yoo of Alpharetta, Georgia, and Alexandra Hileman of Sunnyvale, Texas, shot 2-over-par 74 to earn Girls Division medalist honors Monday. Yoo, a rising high school freshman, carded three birdies throughout the round and had eight bogey-free holes on the back nine. Hileman, also a rising high school freshman, had four birdies to help her tie for first. Both Yoo and Hileman are looking for their first AJGA career wins.

Patmon Malcom of Alpharetta, Georgia, shot 3-under-par 69 to lead the Boys Division and earn medalist honors. Malcom carded five birdies including two-consecutive birdies on Nos. 15 and 16. He also had a bogey-free back nine. Malcom is looking for his first AJGA career win.
