Luke Haskew of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, leads the Boys Division of the AJGA Junior at Canebrake Club heading into round two. He shot 7-under-par 65, and has a two shot lead. Haskew had six birdies and one eagle on the day.
Max Herendeen of Bellevue, Washington, and Josh Duangmanee of Fairfax, Virginia, are tied for second at 5-under-par 67. Close behind, and tied for fourth, are Adam Hunt of Columbia, South Carolina, Treed Huang of Katy, Texas, and Topher Reed of Fairview Park, Ohio at 4-under-par 68.
Iris Cao of Duluth, Georgia leads the Girls Division heading into round two at 2-under-par 70. She had four birdies on the day. Cao has a two shot lead.
Behind Cao, tied for second place, are Christine Chang of Auburn, Alabama, and Maye Huang of Katy, Texa,s at even-par 72.
