Four-Way Tie for First in Boys Division

Logan Kim of La Canada Flintridge, California, Adam Anderson of Ventura, California, Tyler Loree of El Paso, Texas, and Jeff Seong of Tacoma, Washington, lead the Boys Division after the second round with a tournament score of 8-under-par 136.

Kim had an eagle and five birdies bringing his second-round score to 6-under-par 66. He has had four top-ten finishes in 2021 in Southern California PGA tournaments.

With four birdies, Anderson's second-round score was 4-under-par 68. He was in second place after the first round.

Loree remains in first with a score of 3-under-par 69. He maintained his place with four birdies and making par on all but one hole.

In 2021, Seong has two top-ten finishes in tournaments held by the Washington Junior Golf Association. He finished round two with a score of 5-under-par 67. He had an eagle on No. 10.

The Girls Division also has a tie for first. Alice Ziyi Zhao of (China) Irvine, California, and Brooke McGlasson of Peoria, Arizona, lead the tournament with a score of 6-under-par 138.

Zhao finished the round with a score of 5-under- par 67. The rising seventh-grader had seven birdies and only two bogeys. Out of the seven tournaments she has played in with the AJGA and the Southern California PGA she has had six top-5 finishes.

McGlasson finished the second round with a score of 3-under-par 69. She had four birdies on the front nine and two on the back nine. In 2020, she finished T7 in the Arizona State High School Championship.

Rising freshman Anya Mathur of Scottsdale, Arizona, is in third with a score of 1-under-par 71. She had one eagle and two birdies during the second round bringing her tournament score to 5-under-par 139.

In solo fourth is Annika Ishiyama of Costa Mesa, California. In 2021, she has four top-five finishes in Southern California PGA and Future Champions Junior Golf tournaments. She finished the second round with a score of 3-under-par 69.
