Following in third at 4-under-par 67 is Asher Whitaker of Wichita, Kansas. One stroke behind Whitaker is Thomas Curry of Texarkana, Arkansas, at 3-under-par 68 in fourth. In fifth is Jake Maggert of The Woodlands, Texas, at 2-under-par 69.
Grace Kilcrease of Springdale, Arkansas, started off the week strong and leads the Girls Division at 4-under-par 67 following the first round. She carded five birdies throughout the round, with three on the front nine. She has made a verbal commitment to the University of Tulsa.
Following Kilcrease at 3-under-par 68 is Mackenzie Lee of North Little Rock, Arkansas. In third are Estelle Seon of Carrollton, Texas, Madison Phung of Frisco, Texas, and Eryn Garza of Montgomery, Texas, at 2-under-par 69.
