Enright leads Boys Division by two strokes after round one

Carson Enright of Longboat Key, Florida, leads the Boys Division after a 6-under-par 65 first round. The Oregon State University commit carded five birdies and an eagle on the par 5 No. 15 to secure the lead. The 2021 senior is No. 76 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings.

Arizona natives Max Lyons of Peoria, and Anawin Pikulthong of Gilbert, finished the day T2 at 4-under-par 67. They sit two strokes back of Enright.

Preston Summerhays of Scottsdale, Arizona, Jackson Rivera of San Diego, and Eric Lee of Fullerton, California, are T4 at 3-under-par 68.

Jaclyn LaHa of Pleasanton, California, and Xinyi (Iris) Wang of (Hong Kong) Lake Mary, Florida, share the Girls Division lead at 4-under-par 67. Both players fired five birdies and a bogey on their respective rounds. LaHa posted a bogey-free 2-under-par 34 back nine to counter Wang's bogey-free 3-under-par 32 front nine. Both players earned their first AJGA victories in 2020, with LaHa winning the Wincraft / McArthur Towel & Sports Future Legends and Wang taking home the title at the Rome Junior Classic.

Kylee Choi of Murrieta, California, sits in third at 3-under-par 68.
