Esther Yoo of Sunland, California, had the round of the day among all golfers with a 6-under-par 66, running away with medalist honors. Despite already being in the tournament field, Yoo played as if she was fighting for a spot with a back nine score of 5-under-par 31, which included three consecutive birdies on Nos. 14, 15 and 16.

In the Boys Division, Stephen Liu of Auckland, New Zealand, narrowly earned Qualifier Medalist honors after shooting a 3-under-par 68. He entered his final hole tied for the lead, but with a birdie on the par-5 No. 18, he was able to narrowly earn the title.
