Yana Wilson (2024) of Henderson, Nevada, tied three ways coming into the second round, but ultimately broke away from the pack as the solo leader at 3-under-par 139 and 1-under 69 for the round. At No. 17 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings, the 14-year-old had a total of seven birdies and one eagle over the 36 holes.
Grace Summerhays of Scottsdale, Arizona and Anna Davis of Spring Valley, California, are currently tied for second. Summerhays heated up among the men earlier this year when she played in a Monday Qualifier on the Korn Ferry Tour. Davis sizzled on the golf course during the PING Heather Farr Classic when she set the course record and won the tournament at 7-under par 206.
