Chi-Chun Chen of (Taiwan) Tainan, Taiwan, and Charles Erlandson of Verona, Wisconsin, each shot 1-under-par 71 to share the Boys Division lead. Erlandson's round included six birdies, while Chen scored three of his own.
Third place in the Boys Division features a five-way tie at even-par 72 between Braeden Sladek of Alexandria, Minnesota, Yilin (Justin) Sun of (China) Shenzhen, China, Andrew Ramos of Blaine, Minnesota, Noah Zyung of Glenview, Illinois, and Michael Rudnick of Glencoe, Illinois.
