Chery leads Boys Division by eight strokes

North Chery of Monroe, Connecticut, leads the Boys Division by eight strokes after shooting 7-under-par 65 in the round. Chery led the Boys Division with eight birdies in the round, including five consecutive birdies on No. 1 - No. 5. The 2025 graduate also made three consecutive birdies on No. 13 - No. 15. Cherry will be seeking his first career AJGA victory tomorrow.

Bryce Karty of Port Washington, New York, TJ Betlow of Short Hills, New Jersey, and Edward Paik of Jericho, New York, are all tied for second place after shooting `1-over-par 73 in the first round. The three players combined for 12 birdies in the round and are all on the hunt for their first career AJGA victory.

Bryan Zhao of Jericho, New York, Josh Yan of Newburgh, New York, and Paco Sze of Hong Kong, are tied for fifth place in the Boys Division heading in the final round after shooting 2-over-par 74. The three players combined for 10 birdies on the day.

Rayee Feng of Short Hills, New Jersey, and Ariana Urrea of Kissimmee, Florida, are tied for the Girls Division lead heading into the final round of the Girls Division after shooting `1-over-par 73 in the first round. Feng, a 2026 graduate, ended her round with two birdies. Urrea, a 2026 graduate as well, ended her round with four birdies. Both players are seeking their first ever AJGA victory tomorrow.

Isabella Salerno of Rye, New York, and Karolyn Zeng of Vaughan, Ontario, Canada, are both tied for second place after shooting 3-over-par 75 in the round. Salerno, a 2025 graduate and Zeng, a 2024 graduate combined for two birdies in the round.
