Billy Horschel hosts Stableford event for the 6th time

The Billy Horschel Junior Championship presented by Zurich is back for the sixth time. The unique stableford event is being hosted at The Palencia Club in St. Augustine, Florida. Scoring is as follows for stableford play:

  • Albatross: +8 points
  • Eagle: +5 points
  • Birdie: +2 points
  • Par: 0 points
  • Bogey: -1 point
  • Double Bogey or worse: -3 points

Billy Horschel and his wife Brittany serve as the tournament hosts this week. The pair met while competing in an AJGA tournaments as junior and went on to play at the University of Florida together. In his professional career on the PGA TOUR, Horschel has seven PGA TOUR wins, one international victory and most recently was a member of the victorious United States Presidents Cup team at Quail Hollow Club.
