Hunter Wolfinger from Missouri City, Texas, finished round one of the tournament with a score of 3-under-par 68. Wolfinger's round included two birdies and a chip-in eagle. He will return tomorrow for the final round in hopes to claim his spot as the champion of the Boys Division.
In the Boys Division, Krishnav Nikhil Chopraa of New Delhi, India, Dillon Barnard of Montgomery, Texas, and Niccolo Cristofalo of Nashville, Tennessee, are all one shot off the lead with rounds of 2-under-par 69.
Gabrielle Roth of Austin, Texas, Tabitha Hanely of Bradenton, Florida, and Avery Robinson of Macon, Georgia, are all currently tied for first place going into the second round of the Girls Division. They all had rounds of 3-over par 74 in the first round. Roth and Robinson led the field with three birdies while Hanely had two. The girls will seek their first AJGA Preview win tomorrow.
Tee times begin at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow to determine the two champions of the AJGA Preview at College Station.
