BOWLING GREEN, Fla. – The 3rd Buick Shanshan Feng AJGA Girls Invitational will take place September 2 -5 in Bowling Green, Florida. The all-girls Invitational brings some of the top-ranked junior golfers in the world to compete at Streamsong Resort - Black Course for a 54-hole, stroke-play tournament.
Streamsong Resort is the only location in the world where players can experience three distinct golf courses designed by these legendary architects—Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, Tom Doak, and Gil Hanse and Jim Wagner. Streamsong Red (Coore-Crenshaw), Streamsong Blue (Doak) and Streamsong Black (Hanse-Wagner) are three of the most highly acclaimed and widely pursued golf courses in the game today. Revered by golfers as a bucket-list destination, Streamsong Resort rivals the greatest golf venues in the world. The Black Course, home of this year's event, was named No. 22 in Golfweek's "Top 100 Courses You Can Play" list.
About the Buick Shanshan Feng AJGA Girls Invitational Field
The 2022 event will include 36 juniors of the top-100 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings.
Kaitlyn Schroeder of Jacksonville, Florida, headlines the field holding the No. 1 spot in the Rolex AJGA Rankings. Schroeder won the 2022 Rolex Girls Junior Championship in June and followed that up with a win at the 2022 Girls Junior PGA Championship in August. The University of Alabama commit is a two-time Rolex Junior All-American.
Of the 78 player field, 59 girls have at least one career AJGA victory. Sara Im of Duluth, Georgia, leads the way with seven wins since 2019. At No. 17 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings, Im is verbally committed to Vanderbilt. Alice Ziyi Zhao of Irvine, California, comes in as one of the youngest juniors in the field. At age 13, the 2027 graduate already has four AJGA wins including the 2022 KPMG Stacy Lewis Junior All-Star Invitational. At No. 20 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings, Zhao was also a 2021 Rolex Junior All-American and a member of the 2021 Junior All-Star team.
Representatives from five foreign countries and nine Floridians are set to compete in this very competitive field. There are also 17 players that have committed verbally to play college golf.
Buick Shanshan Feng AJGA Girls Invitational History
The Buick Shanshan Feng AJGA Girls Invitational has occurred two other times other than this year, changing host venues each year. In addition to Streamsong - Black Course, this event has also taken place at The Saticoy Club in Somis, California and TPC Valencia in Valencia, California.

The tournament rounds run Saturday, September 3 - Monday, September 5 with tee times from 8 - 10:20 a.m. off of Nos. 1 and 12.
