PRACTICE FACILITIES: To promote social distancing players are encouraged to arrive on-site no more than one hour before their posted tee time. Players will be allowed to warm-up on the driving range or practice putting green in the order that they choose. Please note that the driving range is restricted to irons only. Range balls before play at Green Mountain National Golf Course are complimentary.

CODE OF CONDUCT: The AJGA will not tolerate players or parents who do not adhere to guidelines put in place to promote social distance and player safety. We reserve the right to penalize and/or disqualify players who knowingly and willingly disregard our policies to promote social distance. Players are also responsible for the actions of their family members.

POST ROUND: Practice will be permitted at the host facility. The practice facilities will close at 5 p.m. daily. Failure to properly social distance may result in forfeiture of additional practice time. Please note that the driving range is restricted to irons only and that range balls are available at the individual’s expense at Green Mountain National Golf Course after play.  

OFF-SITE DRIVING RANGE: If players wish to have more time to warm up prior to the round, hit woods, or practice longer following play, the Fox Run Golf Club driving range located 24.1 miles away (approximately 33 minutes) is available 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Range balls at Fox Run Golf Club are at the individual’s expense.

AJGA Staff members will be positioned around the course to complete equipment surveys and tournament registrations. Following the practice round, please visit the registration table outside the Green Mountain National Golf Course clubhouse to collect your tournament gifts.

Practice Round and Tournament Hole Locations are available on the tournament website. The AJGA will not have hard copies of these available. All players are required to carry their own bag or use a push cart. All parents and family members are always required to stay on the cart path during the practice round.

Additional Practice Rounds Information
Players may arrange additional practice rounds by visiting Green Mountain National Golf Course's website on an individual basis. Additional practice rounds will be subject to Green Mountain National Golf Club’s availability. Additional practice rounds are available Saturday, June 18 and Sunday, June 19 after 12 p.m. each day. Tee times will become available 2 weeks before the requested date. Greens fees are $50 (walking). Please note that players MUST book their tee times online at Green Mountain National Golf Course's website . This rate is not available anywhere else and the course is unable to adjust or refund tee times booked elsewhere. Please contact Green Mountain National Golf Course at (888) 483-4653 with any questions.

Additional practice rounds are at the individual’s expense and are provided at a reduced rate by the AJGA and the host facility. Players and guests must comply with all rules & expectations at the host facility including, but not limited to, a restriction of the number of shots to be played, disrespectful behavior towards host club staff and/or members, overall time limits and limitations of non-paying guests. Failure to comply with these rules and Green Mountain National Golf Club’s rules and regulations with regards to social distancing may result in the forfeiture of your practice round and potentially disqualification from the tournament.

AJGA CARES FOR THE COURSE: As part of the AJGA’s Code of Conduct policy players are required to fill their divots and ball marks on the golf course. Players will receive a small, lightweight sand bottle at the beginning of each event and should fill the bottles at the sand filling stations on each tee as necessary. The penalty for not following this policy is as follows:

  • 1st & 2nd offense – Player receives a verbal warning
  • 3rd & subsequent offenses – Player receives a one-stroke penalty

SCORECARDS: Players will be required to bring a smart phone or device with internet capabilities that supports the Golf Genius application (available on iOS or Android) to use for their official scorecard and live scoring during all AJGA events. Please make sure you have the most updated version of the app. Instructions on how to use the app can be found here and here . Each player will be provided with a GGID at the starting tee and will be assigned to mark for another player in the group. The player is responsible for providing their own device and ensuring it is fully charged for the round.

PLAYER REGISTRATION: It is recommended that players do not arrive for player registration more than one hour before the scheduled time. The AJGA will take precautions to make sure player gifts are sanitized prior to registration.

Registration is MANDATORY.  Players who fail to attend without prior approval from the tournament director may forfeit their tournament gifts. Approval to miss the Players Registration will be granted only in extreme circumstances. An individual absent from these events because they are not staying at the host hotel, are staying in private housing for the week, or have a long commute do not constitute acceptable circumstances.

Following the second round the tournament field will be cut to a minimum of 50% of both the Boys and Girls fields. Exact numbers will be posted at the tournament.

Note: Players assume the entire risk if they call any other number or individual and receive an incorrect starting time.

A tie for the championship will be decided by a sudden-death playoff immediately following the conclusion of play. As inclement weather may delay play, please make your departing flight as late as possible. The AJGA will play until dark if necessary to complete the tournament.

JUNIOR PLUS MEMBER SWING VIDEOS by FLIGHTSCOPE: All Junior Plus Members may record swing metrics and an HD video through FlightScope technology on the driving range at any time during the event.  Players can share videos and data in their Player Center, shared to college coaches through AJGA recruiting profiles.  Contact the Tournament Director to schedule time to film a swing video.

OFFICIAL YARDAGE BOOK AND GREENS GUIDE – StrackaLine: StrackaLine provides a 20% discount on yardage books and greens guides to participants of the Golf Performance Center Killington Junior Golf Championship hosted at Green Mountain National Golf Course. The discount can be accessed online here .

RANGEFINDERS: The AJGA allows the usage of distance-measuring devices in all AJGA competitions. If, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device to gauge or MEASURE OTHER CONDITIONS that might affect his/her play (e.g., gradient, wind speed, temperature, etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 4.3(1).

SPECTATOR GOLF CARTS: Golf carts and spectator carts are not allowed without a Government issued Blue Permanent Handicap placard. Please see the Tournament Director on-site to receive an approved cart.

PUSH CARTS: Push carts (non-motorized) are approved for use by all players as permitted by the host facility. Players are responsible for providing their own push carts.
