Returning to Old Sandwich Golf Club in Plymouth, Massachusetts, for the fourth time the Wyndham Cup is being played for the 32nd time in 2022.
The event brings together 40 of the nation's top junior golfers from the East and West for four formats of play over three days.
This year's teams were determined by the Rolex AJGA Rankings and a dividing line that runs from the eastern border of Texas extending northward through the eastern border of North Dakota.
The East enters as the defending champion beating the West team 29.5 to 20.5 at Bulls Bay Golf Club in Awendaw, South Carolina, in 2021.

The East Team is led by recent AJGA Invitational winner, Kaitlyn Schroeder. Schroeder won the 2022 Rolex Girls Junior Championship two weeks ago at The Loxahatchee Club in Jupiter, Florida. The University of Alabama commit went wire-to-wire to win by three strokes in the 72-hole competition.
15 of the 20 East players are past AJGA Champions. Additionally nine were honored as Rolex Junior All-Americans. The team also includes 11 players committed to play college golf.
Im, Schroeder, and Shoemaker are the only returning members of the East Team.

The 2022 West Team includes nine past AJGA Invitational Champions including four from 2022 alone. Yana Wilson lead off the year winning the Diamond Resorts ANNIKA Invitational presented by Rolex in a one-hole playoff over eventual Augusta National Women's Amateur Champion, Anna Davis. Chirravuri opened the year at the AJGA Simplify Boys Championship at Carlton Woods by one stroke over current East Team member Nicholas Gross.
LaHa kicked off her summer winning the Under Armour / Albane Valenzuela Girls Invitational at Longbow Golf Club. This marked the University of Virginia commits first invitational win. The youngest competitor in the Wyndham Cup field this week, Henry Guan, won his first AJGA event at the Wyndham Invitational presented by Truist in June at Sedgefield Country Club.
Romero, Chien, Koivun, Lee and Vo have all also each won an AJGA Invitational.
The West Team features 16 past AJGA Champions and 16 Rolex Junior All-Americans. The team also includes 16 college commits and eight returning members. The returners to the West Team include: Chien, Davis, Rao, Wilson, Zhang-Murphy, Appel, Lee and Sosa.
