Broussard, La. - The 1st Clubs for Kids Foundation Junior All-Star Invitational will take place on October 5-8 in Broussard, Louisiana. The AJGA Junior All-Star Invitational has occurred since 2000; however, this will be the first year Le Triomphe Golf and Country Club will play host. The 54-hole, stroke play tournament will host 72 of some of the best junior golfers in the world, ages 12-15.

About the Course
Founded in 1986, Le Triomphe Golf and Country Club, is a Robert Trent Jones, Jr. signature championship golf course. Just a year after its grand opening, Le Triomphe was named one of the best courses built in the United States since 1962 by USA Today.

Today, Le Triomphe is only one of two clubs in the state of Louisiana to host a sanctioned PGA TOUR event, the prestigious Chitimacha Louisiana Open. For more than twenty five years, the Louisiana Open has been one of the favorite stops for players on the Korn Ferry Tour.

AJGA Champion Highlights
Of the 48 players who’ve won an AJGA event, here are a few highlights:

  • Aphrodite Deng of Short Hills, New Jersey, won the 2023 Moon Golf Junior All-Star and has three top-10 finishes. Deng is the highest ranked player in the field at No. 38 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings.
  • Angela Zhang of Bellevue, Washington, won the 2023 AJGA Salt Lake Junior. Zhang is a five-time AJGA champion and is No. 39 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings.
  • Ronin Banerjee of Irvine, California, secured two AJGA wins this year. Banerjee is No. 60 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings.
  • Preston Hage of Raleigh, North Carolina, is No. 80 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings. Hage was a runner-up at the 2023 HV3 Foundation Junior Open and the TaylorMade TP5 Junior All-Star.

Tournament History
The 1st Clubs for Kids Foundation Junior All-Star Invitational has occurred annually since 2000, changing host venues periodically over the years.
