BROUSSARD, Louisiana- Ava Zhang of Lake Mary, Florida, leads the 1st Clubs for Kids Foundation Junior All-Star Invitational after carding a 3-under-par 69 in the second round.

Zhang started the round out strong with a birdie on No.1. The 2028 grad would go on to par the next three holes before getting her second birdie of the day on No.5. Zhang ran into some trouble on Nos. 6-7, after carding back-to-back bogeys, however the negative momentum didn't last long after Zhang birdied No.9. After making the turn, the 14-year-old would eagle No.12 and card another birdie on No.14 to jump into the lead. Zhang is currently at 6-under-par 138 overall for the event. The Florida native is seeking her second AJGA win and first invitational victory.

Shyla Brown of McKinney, Texas, sits one stroke back from Zhang at 5-under-par 139. The 2026 grad carded five birdies and one eagle to move up four spots on the leaderboard.

Rounding out the top three of the Girls Division is Aphrodite Deng of (Canada) Short Hills, New Jersey. The 2028 grad carded five birdies to close out her second round at 4-under-par 140.

Sohan Patel of Weston, Florida, leads the Boys Division at 5-under-par 139.

Patel started the round on the back nine and had a consistent start with back-to-back pars. He would go on to birdie No. 12 but then bogey No.13. The 2027 grad finished his front nine with a birdie on No. 16. Patel started to go on a hot streak after carding birdies on Nos.1,2,5 and 6. Nos.7-8 proved to be a challenge after the Florida native carded back-to-back bogeys. The 14-year-old is seeking his first AJGA win.

Lucas Gimenez of Jacksonville, Florida, John Markow of Ridgeland, Mississippi, and Jack Clancy of Dallas, Texas each sit one stroke back at 4-under-par 140. Gimenez and Markow both carded two birdies and Clancy carded five birdies. Both Gimenez and Clancy also carded an eagle during the round.

The final round tees off at Le Triomphe Golf & Country Club, Sunday, October 8, at 8:00 a.m. off No. 1 and No. 10 tees.
